Stripe now pays gas fees for agent stablecoin payments over MPP

Stripe announced a practical stablecoin update: instead of wondering who pays the gas, Stripe now pays Tempo's gas fees for you over MPP (Machine Payments Protocol) in one line of code. MPP, an open protocol co-authored by Stripe and Tempo, lets agents pay for APIs and services programmatically without a checkout UI—the server returns an HTTP 402 with payment details, the agent authorizes, retries, and gets the paid resource plus a receipt.
