AMD VP submits PR himself: TokenSpeed gains RDNA 4 support for Radeon RX 9070
zhyncs42 · x · 2026-10-02
AMD VP Anush Elangovan personally submitted a PR to open-source inference project TokenSpeed, adding gfx1201 (RDNA 4) support so Radeon RX 9070-class GPUs can use existing portable Triton kernels and ROCm implementations. Validated on Radeon AI PRO R9700: 223 tests passed, plus Qwen3-0.6B BF16 inference with Triton attention. A rare case of a hardware leader writing open-source code himself.
