Cloudflare open-sources Clef decision models, tops Jev Decision Index, Apache 2.0 on Hugging Face

Following buzz around Typesafe AI's Jev System One, Cloudflare released its own decision models, Clef and Clef-flash, hosted on Workers AI and fully open-sourced under Apache 2.0 on Hugging Face. Key points:
- Decision models produce cheap, fast, consistent bounded structured outputs for agent workflows — no retraining needed for new classification categories, complementing open-ended LLMs.
- Clef currently leads the Jev Decision Index; full results live on a benchmark demo site.
- The models are fully Jev-API compatible for easy experimentation.
- Cloudflare also debuted an RL fine-tuning platform so customers can adapt Clef to their use cases.
