Recreating 1994's Theme Park to pit GPT-6.1 Sol against Claude Opus 5.5 at game building
rschu · x · 2026-10-02
Developer rschu used Theme Park — the 1994 Amiga game co-designed by Demis Hassabis, now co-founder of Google DeepMind — as inspiration for a web clone called Scheme Park, then had GPT-6.1 Sol and Claude Opus 5.5 compete at building the game.
His follow-up asking how to get closer to the Opus 5.5 result without heavy manual work suggests GPT-6.1 Sol still trails Opus 5.5 on this task.
