Humans learn a 'byproduct' from hard problems; LLMs lack it entirely

The author argues that when humans think and solve hard problems, the byproduct — what forms your person, experience and skills — matters as much as the result, yet is rarely discussed for LLMs. In his view, LLMs are just processors, and the critical part that properly learns as a byproduct is entirely missing.
