Sam Altman pushes back on 'AI house cats' narrative, predicts wave of scientific discovery

Sam Altman says he gets sad when people claim AI will automate everything and reduce humans to house cats rewarded at AI's discretion, stressing that's not OpenAI's view. He instead expects a huge wave of scientific discovery and new companies giving everyone the chance to create something new.
