Per SCMP, Huawei is accelerating its Tau Scaling Law-based advanced chips to counter strict US export curbs. Consumer chief Richard Yu said 100K Mate XT 2 trifold phones shipped since its Sept 12 launch, with 1M total sales in sight — the first phone with a LogicFolding-architecture mobile processor. Huawei plans to put its self-developed chips across the new Mate 90 series and expand to Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and possibly Europe.
