a16z (with AnimoVentures and others) has led doxxnet's $38M Series A. Founder Barrett Lyon previously pioneered modern DDoS defense with Prolexic.
- Positioning: AI makes collecting personal info dramatically easier, and agents acting on our behalf expand the attack surface
- doxxnet offers an "Agentic Defined Networking" layer: a parallel private network where people and their agents can browse privately, transfer files peer-to-peer, and join encrypted device/agent meshes with no server in the middle
- 38M+ threats blocked since December
