Yext turns Scout into a multiplayer marketing agent harness and acquires Flamel
henloitsjoyce · x · 2026-10-01
At Yext's Envision conference, CEO Michael Walrath announced two moves: Scout is now a multiplayer agent harness where marketing teams, partners, and agents collaborate from shared context, and the Flamel team (Paul Ehlinger, Matt Sichterman) is joining Yext to build paid local media tools. His thesis: agents will matter in marketing's future, but tools commoditize while great marketers don't.
