a16z co-leads Armadin's Series B: Mandiant founder builds AI autonomous offense-driven security

a16z announced co-leading Armadin Security's Series B. After this summer's cyber incidents at frontier AI labs, CISOs face mounting pressure across applications, cloud, identity, and internal networks.
Armadin's AI autonomous security platform turns offense into something defenders control: an agentic attacker swarm built on decades of adversary tradecraft reasons, plans, and adapts like a real attacker, learning from every attack and environment. The team is led by Kevin Mandia, founder of Mandiant, which defined modern incident response.
