Palantir doubles down on 5-week fellowship as Ivy League alternative
eliano · x · 2026-10-01
Per the New York Post, Palantir is pioneering tech company alternatives to the traditional four-year degree and plans to double its program. Jordan Hirsch, who runs Palantir's semester-style Meritocracy Fellowship for high school graduates, says Ivy League credentials no longer guarantee top talent and many qualified candidates are missed: "What we're trying to build is what we think the college environment should be — and do it in five weeks." Silicon Valley firms increasingly launch their own training programs, citing distrust that elite universities still produce the best candidates.
