Astribot T1: on sale at $18K
- T1 debuted at IROS 2026 and is officially on sale: cable-driven body, 23 DoF (excluding end effectors), up to 5 kg payload per arm, full SDK/API access, immediate delivery.
- The cable drive stands out: high backdrivability and force transparency let end-effector contact forces feed back with almost no loss; the teleoperation demo (pouring sugar with a spoon, stirring with a glass stirrer) needs no extensive training.
- For comparison, Agility's Digit 5 costs $200,000.
- Astribot also showed its full stack including the in-house Lumo-2 model.
