Legal AI startup Legora adds 800 customers in one quarter, says clients are hiring more lawyers
chetanp · x · 2026-10-01
Legora founder MaxJunestrand appeared on Bloomberg in London, calling Q3 the company's most hectic quarter ever: 800 new customers in three months, 2,300+ customers across 80+ countries, and more ARR added this quarter than its total ARR at the end of 2025. On the jobs question, he insists customers are actually hiring more lawyers — legal work is supply constrained, and better tools mean more contracts reviewed and more diligence done, with lawyers still owning judgment. He also argues that with LLMs, the programming language is English, and word-savvy lawyers are among the best drivers of the product.
