Linux kernel got 1000+ CVEs in a day — a counterpoint to blaming AI for bad code
rickasaurus · x · 2026-10-01
Developer Rick (@rickasaurus) pushes back on the "AI is bad for software" narrative: the Linux kernel accumulated 1000+ CVEs in a single day. Some of the most respected human programmers, he notes, were writing exploitable code daily while others reviewed and approved it — so blaming AI alone for software quality issues doesn't hold up.
