Before the AI game metaverse, expect a Newgrounds-style boom of prompt-generated game platforms

Dev Acerola laments that AI-generated game mods and ports get 10M views and praise while the poster merely ran a prompt overnight. Promptmethus builds on this with a prediction: before games collapse into one all-encompassing metaverse MMO, we'll first see a Flash-game-era landscape of competing user-generated-content platforms, where endlessly prompted games get ranked by votes, obvious remix ideas are exhausted in waves of imitation trends, and only after the community matures do truly original games emerge.
