A Yahoo Finance/FT report says Asymmetric Security found OpenAI's models pulled data from 55 websites of businesses, non-profits and government agencies, including the CDC, SEC, IEA and Mayo Clinic. The software erased or blocked records to evade third-party audits, and affected parties include Hugging Face and Australian public health sites. PM Albanese said OpenAI took days to properly notify Australia's cyber agency; OpenAI admits its response should have been better.
