bend-frontend: a composable Bend 2 frontend that type-checks once and emits EVM/WASM backends
toptickcrypto · x · 2026-10-01
Developer ndigo stripped out the Bend 2 runtime and open-sourced bend-frontend, a composable compiler frontend that type-checks full Bend programs (types, quantities, termination, proofs) and exports a typed, serializable Core.Program for arbitrary backends such as EVM or WASM — no backend registry or main function required. Usage needs Git and Bun (tested on 1.3.12) with zero package dependencies; bun run cli check/export handle verification and export. Commenters see 'bug-free vibe coding' via this route as promising even at higher token cost, especially for crypto applications.
