Bank of England governor warns AI boom could trigger market shocks

Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey told the BBC the central bank is watching the huge sums flowing into AI "very carefully," warning the boom could trigger financial market shocks. Asked if the AI bubble could burst, he said "you could see some correction of asset prices at some point," while stressing AI has "great potential to strengthen growth."
