Free Dot Avatar Maker Lets You Sculpt Cute 3D Characters, and Ships as a Skill for Claude Code and Codex
yihui_indie · x · 2026-10-01
An indie dev launched Dot Avatar Maker, a free, no-signup tool for sculpting cute 3D dot avatars: 25 forms (round, cloud, heart, animals, fantasy), 12 materials (plush, wool felt, soft clay, glazed ceramic, jelly, glass, chrome) rendered with real studio lighting, and 32 style accessories like top hats, wizard hats and headphones. Finished characters export as transparent PNGs or interactive spinnable 3D HTML pages.
It also ships as a free Skill: add it to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or other Skills-compatible agents, then just describe a character — the agent opens the studio pre-configured for it, ready to fine-tune and download.
