US 'BVILD when it wants' datacenter argument unconvincing — China would run circles in building capacity
teortaxesTex · x · 2026-10-01
teortaxesTex argues he's never been impressed by the "the US can build when it wants — look at datacenters!" line. Datacenters are more than warehouses but still share a family resemblance with them, so if construction capacity is the bottleneck for AI infrastructure, China's proven buildout speed would leave the US far behind.
