Kling 4.0 promises 30s 4K clips, but the public beta is still 720p
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-01
Kling AI announced Kling 4.0: clips up to 30 seconds, up to 10 reference-image keyframes for sequence control, improved audio sync, and 4K/10-bit HDR slated for the full October release. Yet the Flash beta open to Ultra Yearly subscribers remains 720p in 8-bit SDR, and no independent rankings exist for the full model since it hasn't shipped. For creators, longer clips and more reference slots help with a known shot list — but taste and continuity still decide usability.
