AI game hacking goes beyond modding: decompiling and mixing entire games

gandamuml adds that some AI-assisted game hacking has moved past modding entirely: people are decompiling or porting whole games and mixing code from multiple titles — 'stuff is suddenly happening on another level.' Combined with his earlier note, most of these practitioners come from outside modding communities, using AI to pull off what was previously infeasible.
