California issues cease-and-desist to humanoid fighting league REK

The State of California has sent a cease-and-desist order to REK, a new humanoid fighting league, following its recent human-vs-robot cage fight, per REK CEO @cixliv.
The move could mark one of the first state regulatory interventions involving humanoid robot fighting as an entertainment format.
