Boris Cherny, head of Claude Code at Anthropic, says he has merged 1,700 pull requests, added 400k lines of code, and deleted 250k lines this year — all with Claude Code, consuming 8 billion tokens.
He claims 100% of his code has been written by Claude Code since Opus 4.5 (around last November), and most of his coding now happens on his phone. From an interview on the "Scale" YouTube channel.
