MongoDB interim CEO on Meta poaching CJ Desai: 'They'll remember what kind of leader you were'

MongoDB interim CEO Chirantan 'CJ' Zaveri addressed Meta's poaching of CJ Desai on TBPN with pointed understatement.
"CJ made a decision, and I'll let you pass judgment," he said, before quoting a friend's advice: "At the end of the day, no one's going to remember how much money you make. They're going to remember what kind of leader you were and what kind of person you were." He closed with "I'll just leave it at that."
The remarks read as an implicit jab at Meta's aggressive pay packages in the ongoing AI talent war.
