Open-source MCP tool shares one memory across all local AI models, claims 99% token savings

Redditor gonzarom released IHMT-MEMORY, an open-source tool that, once installed locally and connected via MCP, lets all agents and models on your machine share the same memory, knowledge and conversation history. New conversations inherit full context without re-explaining, reportedly cutting token usage by up to 99%. Everything stays local, and memory can be copied to another machine.
