Isomorphic Labs, the DeepMind spinout focused on drug discovery, detailed its drug design engine IsoDDE: given a biological target and desired molecular properties as a design spec, an AI agent autonomously searches vast chemical spaces and iteratively generates new molecule designs over a 2-4 day period, achieving real-world functional progress. The company says what used to take months of lab work now happens computationally in days, marking a shift from manual execution to AI-driven drug design at unprecedented scale.
