Four Practical Ways to Use Jev for Token-Efficient AI Coding Workflows
Cole Medin · youtube · 2026-10-01
Cole Medin shares his four most practical Jev use cases for AI coding, aimed at the current pain point of tight rate limits:
- Security hooks: guard coding agents from unsafe actions;
- Gameplay testing: have Jev playtest a game to catch bugs unit tests miss;
- Browser testing: drive browser testing on a real app;
- Workflow classification: classify GitHub issues and PRs so Archon workflows pick the right steps and models.
The core pattern is sandwiching Jev between LLMs: the LLM sets it up and acts on results, while Jev makes the fast, cheap decisions in between. Includes chapter timestamps, example repos (jev-ultrafast, jev-use), and an upcoming Dynamous deep-dive workshop.
