Developer MaziyarPanahi reports that the Claude app handles long-running sessions poorly: compacts and caching are unstable, and it spontaneously invoked subagents he never asked for. He adds that while Opus 5.5 is cheap, 80% of his quota burned through in 3 days, so he's switching back to his Astra and Sol 6.1 combo.
