Google Research has released an AI video co-director that runs multi-agent orchestration on top of Gemini and Veo, tracking world state so characters and rooms stay consistent across shots — aiming at coherent 5-minute stories rather than 5-second clips.
Laurence Moroney frames it as a recurring lesson for builders: demos are generation, products are systems, and AI storytelling is becoming an orchestration problem.
