Figma adds reusable animation styles that coding agents apply via MCP
letandrewcook · x · 2026-10-01
Figma announced custom animation styles for design systems:
- Save an animation style and publish it to your team libraries
- Figma agent and external coding agents can apply the styles automatically via MCP
- Styles can also be referenced through skills
This makes motion specs a first-class, AI-agent-consumable asset in design systems, closing the gap between design and code animation consistency.
