Berkeley Simons Institute opens fellowships for Fall 2027 diffusion generative modeling program

The Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at UC Berkeley is accepting applications for postdoctoral Research Fellowships in its Fall 2027 program on Diffusion Generative Modeling. Applications open Oct 1, 2026 and close Dec 1, 2026. Typically seven fellows per program, open to scientists within five years post-PhD; those holding other postdocs or junior faculty positions may apply with approval. Competitive salary, visa and housing support provided.
