An AI safety community dispute is unfolding around an article that allegedly doxxed a large number of people. @NathanpmYoung says he doesn't trust the piece's sourcing of "someone who is well-placed" given its track record.
In the quoted post, @BlancheMinerva calls the reported rumors horrific but states that after six years working in AI safety she has never spoken with Aella or Nate, nor attended any of the events in question — and says the same is true for the vast majority of people she knows in the field.
