- After OpenAI's DevDay, ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers can spend their plan inside 16 third-party apps — a subscription now acts like a wallet for 50M+ paying users.
- Context: Menlo Ventures finds the average US consumer uses 3.0 AI assistants (up from 2.2 a year ago), and consumer AI spend more than tripled to $40B — much of it paying for the same few models once per app.
- Hyperagent, one of 16 launch partners, is built around hiring an agent team: each agent gets a role (editor, sales rep) and works in Slack, inbox, or on schedules; signing in with ChatGPT runs the agents' GPT usage on the plan you already have. One cited case: a paving business's sales agent added $2M revenue and tripled cold-outbound response rates.
