METAL UI debuts: a React + Swift design system with motion primitives and icon morphing
dejavucoder · x · 2026-10-01
Developer dprophecyguy released METAL UI, a design system library shipping for React and Swift out of the box. It includes components, blocks, motion primitives and icons, with an icon-morphing section highlighted as a demo. The library grew out of the design system for his upcoming Mac app, whose icons and interactions he recently overhauled with Opus 5.5. It's a WIP and he's collecting feedback.
