Microsoft Research unveils Quine, a multimodal world model for biology

Microsoft Research introduced Quine, an early-stage AI research system aiming to build a multimodal world model of biology. It connects insights across biological scales and modalities so scientists can computationally search a hypothesis space far beyond intuition, prioritize experiments before the lab, and use experimental feedback to sharpen future directions. Led by VP Nicolo Fusi and Jonathan Carlson.
