Developer threepointone shares why he can't bring himself to publish blog posts about what AI might remove: the joy of discovery, the struggle of articulation, exercising your own mind, and the desire to make things yourself.
He realized he doesn't want to spend his time "getting better at describing the loss." Instead, he wants his writing to identify a human capacity worth preserving and explore what technology would look like if designed to strengthen it. He doesn't want to just complain — he needs something to show alongside the tell.
