Dumping GPUs and tokens can meaningfully speed up AI development

On whether AI progress can be accelerated by brute force: unlike the internet era's network effects, you can meaningfully increase efficiency by dumping more GPUs and tokens into training and semi-autonomously expand deployment to boost headline numbers — with ZAI, Anthropic and OpenAI all saying AI models are now accelerating model development itself. Though you can't just /goal and have everything work.
