Claiming 'AI drafted text but contributed no ideas' is about two years out of date

The author argues that the line "AI helped draft text but did not contribute any ideas" is about two years out of date: if you use AI in writing at all, it immediately starts contributing ideas whether or not you ask. The point cuts at the gap between disclosure conventions in academia/publishing and how AI is actually used.
