New paper trains tool-using agents to seek info users never mentioned

A new paper tackles a gap in tool-using agents: they do what they're asked, yet many tasks require information the user never mentions. The work explores what an agent should pursue unasked and whether it can be trained to do so. Code and model are released alongside the paper.
