A developer demoed Riel Studio, a full AI movie generation pipeline running inside Blender — about 35 minutes from prompt to finished clip.
How it works:
- Claude (via your own Claude Code login, Opus 5.5 in the demo) drives Blender's tools: modeling a windmill, rigging sails, scattering tulips with geometry nodes, setting up a circling 121-frame camera;
- Rendered frames feed directly into an LTX-2.5 IC-LoRA workflow running as real nodes in Blender, guided by the depth pass;
- Node definitions are pulled live from your own running ComfyUI, so new custom node packs work without waiting for updates;
- ComfyUI can run locally or on a one-click RunPod GPU rental auto-provisioned via API;
- Extras: camera rigs, clips and subtitles into Blender's video editor, and an early motion engine that places mannequins based on text descriptions.
Windows only, Blender 5.0+. Not officially released; waitlist is open.
