Sentry CEO roasts ChatGPT's sidebar selector: it does nothing but tweak layout and nags you to switch

Sentry CEO David Cramer (@zeeg) calls out the worst product experience that AI labs have collectively copied from each other: a mode selector in the classic GPT app that appears to do nothing besides tweak the sidebar layout.
"If that's all it does, then why does it even exist?" He also complains that the classic app nags him to switch to the new version every time he opens it — a pointed jab at top AI companies' UI design choices.
