44,000+ file legal objections to Palantir-run NHS data platform handling their health data

More than 44,000 people have filed legal objections to NHS England demanding their health data be excluded from the Palantir-powered Federated Data Platform (FDP). Under data protection rights invoked by the campaign, the NHS must stop using their data unless it can show a "compelling reason" to continue.
Hundreds of thousands more have petitioned to cancel the government's £330m Palantir deal, and two House of Commons select committees have urged Labour to exercise a break clause falling in February 2027. Backlash is partly fueled by Palantir's controversial work elsewhere.
