A Reddit user shares early impressions of OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol: it "delivers as advertised." 6 Astra was nice for challenging work problems but brutal on token cost—especially when the model burned tokens working through something and you had to backtrack and redo it. Getting similar work done with 6.1 Sol cost dramatically less, with pretty solid results.
