Testing Hyper3D Rodin's Agentic Mode: from assembly diagram to editable 3D asset
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-09-30
The author tested Hyper3D Rodin's new Agentic Mode with an unusual input: instead of a product render, they uploaded an image resembling an assembly manual showing parts and how they fit together, to see if the mode could turn it into one workable 3D asset.
They highlighted three follow-up editing features:
- Material Enhance: brings materials closer to references and adds definition to parts;
- Animation Presets: quick previews of basic movements without building animations from scratch;
- Parametric Control (most useful): adjusting width/height of parts and seeing the model update live.
Key takeaway: the workflow doesn't stop at generation — the first version is a starting point you can keep refining, then carry into Blender or other 3D tools.
