Hyper3D Rodin's new Agentic Mode turns assembly diagrams into editable 3D assets
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-09-30
The author tested the new Agentic Mode in Hyper3D Rodin, deliberately avoiding a typical product render and instead uploading an image resembling an assembly manual that shows individual parts and how they fit together, to see whether the model could parse that information into one workable 3D asset.
Three capabilities stood out:
- Material Enhance: makes materials closer to the references and gives parts more definition.
- Animation Presets: preview basic movements without building an animation from scratch.
- Parametric Control: the most useful for this kind of object, letting him adjust part width/height and watch the model update.
The takeaway: it is not just about getting a model out quickly, but about being able to keep working on it afterward.
