TensorFlow is officially in maintenance mode, says ex-Googler Laurence Moroney

Laurence Moroney, formerly Google's TensorFlow dev rel lead, gives the honest answer to "is TensorFlow dead": it's in maintenance mode, and that's OK. Since TF 2.21 Google ships security and dependency fixes only; Google's own guidance is Keras 3, JAX, or PyTorch for new work. He has moved to PyTorch himself, noting concepts carry over and syntax is the easy part, with a migration thread attached.
