LokalBot 0.9.2 is a free, fully on-device Mac meeting notetaker stacking five small models in just 6.8 GB: Qwen3-ASR 1.7B for transcription, Nemotron 3 for diarization, Qwen3.5 4B for notes, Harrier 0.6B embeddings, and LFM2.5 1.2B for autocomplete. On an M4 Max it turns a 26-minute meeting into notes in 33s (85 tok/s), cut speaker error from 43.4% to 14.6% DER on AMI, and dropped autocomplete p95 from 1.83s to 0.49s. It ships a read-only MCP server so Claude Code can pull meeting context. The author tested smaller MiniCPM5 2B but kept Qwen3.5 4B after it hallucinated action items. Repo and benchmarks are public.
