AI TikToks get 2.1x views of real footage but the lowest like rate, 292k-video study finds

A study tagging 292,784 TikToks (May 2025–Sep 2026) by visual origin found AI-generated videos average 1.4M views vs 661.4k for real footage (2.1x), with 20% passing 1M views vs 10% for real. But AI videos have the lowest like rate of all groups (3.9% vs 7.7%), and on X, Instagram and Threads the picture flips: AI content is only 1.3% of viral posts yet 6.7% of low-engagement ones. The report also demos Revid turning an article link into a narrated video automatically.
