- A Reddit user reports that since switching to Opus 5.5 in Claude Code, sessions are repeatedly flagged by safeguards as [cyber], silently falling back to Opus 4.8 or forcing an edit-and-retry.
- The flagged sessions are entirely non-security: Obsidian notes, Todoist and Google Calendar via MCP, an ATS connector, launchd Python scripts, and a Telegram bot — one flagged session was just asking it to draft a post.
- The OP suspects the trigger is the large system prompt itself — many MCP tools, scripts, API tokens, and bash access — rather than the actual request.
